Answer to Question 1

Question was ” What kind of song are you considering? Will this be a pop song, country song, rock song? Will it have piano, guitar, trumpet accompaniment or will it be acapella?

I’m not sure what type of song I want to do. I don’t have a favorite type but i don’t want to do a rock song. I think I’ll just do a kind of up beat faster but with some slower parts type of song.

I will hopefully have the song accompaniment with piano, acoustic guitar, electric guitar and drums.

Question was ” I have often heard that music videos are really music soundtracks that are synchronized with the lips on the film. Is that true? Research how music videos are made and summarize the steps.”

Step 1: Music:  Write the song.
                               Choose instruments.
                               Record song. (Software program.)

Step 2: Planning: Choose the charachters (Who’s in your video?)
Location (Where will we shoot the video?)
                                   Get props and camera (Supplies)

Step 3: Filming:  Set up supplies. (Camera etc.)
Coreography. (Who will be doing what, when.)
                                  Transfer on to computer.
Put the film and music together.(Using a software program.)

Step 4: Publish:  Add final touches.
                                 Get ready for learning fair.

It is true that sometimes artists lip-synch on film because the film track and music track is recorded sepratly.(So yes it is some times synchronized tracks.)

Question was “Identify five local places people can go record music.”

I couldn’t find any local places to record but we could use a home recording system, the ones below could work.
Audacity http://audacity.sourceforge.net/
Kreatives http://www.kreatives.org/kristal/
We could also use Windows Movie Maker.

Question was “Who in the school might be able to assist you with the writing of the song?”

Mrs Hernandez might be able to help me right a song. Or maybe Mrs.Byron could help me but she works in the middle school and elementary school so I don’t know when she’s in our building.
