Welcome to my blog! I’m Autumn and this blog is so everyone out there can know what I’m doing for my project. My project is to write and perform my own music video! I have always loved music and writing my own songs so a music video is a great fit for me! I hope that I will be able to learn how to create my own music video, so I can do more than one. My first step towards finishing my project is writing my own song!

Wow, Kid! You have an great idea! There are lots of steps to get to your end product. You will need to write your lyrics and the music to accompany it. You will need to perfect the performance through rehearsal. You will need to investigate how to make a music video and then, we need to put it all together. Sounds like a big task, so let’s get started.
Please answer these questions in your next post.
1. What kind of song are you considering? Will this be a pop song, country song, rock song? Will it have piano, guitar, trumpet accompaniment or will it be a capella?
2. Who in the school might be able to assist you with the writing of the song?
3. What are the top ten music videos of all time? What made them special?
4. Identify five local places people can go to record music.
5. I have often heard that music videos are really music soundtracks that are synchronized with the lips on the film. Is that true? Research how music videos are made and summarize the steps.
